A Paddle Line That Reads as Yours
A private label line needs a construction story and shelf-ready packaging — not a re-badged catalog paddle with your logo dropped on it. This is how we build the line with you, from spec sheet to retail box.

What stalls a first paddle line
- Trading layers add margin you never see — every intermediary between the production line and your PO takes a cut of the same spec.
- Catalog paddles converge once a logo goes on: no construction story left to defend your price tier on the shelf wall.
- Nobody on the buying side can read a face/core spec sheet, so construction choices get made from catalog photos.
- Suppliers quote the paddle but treat the retail box, insert and edge guard cover as someone else's problem.
- A wrong first bet is a lost season — construction mistakes only surface after the goods are already on the shelf.

Three starting points, mapped to shelf price tiers
Each row is a proven first-line construction — a place to start the spec conversation, not a fixed catalog SKU. Weight bands and grip sizes are locked per SKU at the sample stage.
| Price tier | Face & core | Core thickness | Packaging tier | Why this starting point |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Entry retail | Fiberglass face + PP honeycomb core | 14.1–15 mm | Printed retail box | Forgiving, easy-swing feel for first-time buyers; keeps landed cost inside a mass-market shelf price. |
| Mid tier — the core of most first lines | T700-grade raw carbon + PP honeycomb core | 15–16 mm | Printed retail box + edge guard cover | The control story and planted feel that justify brand-level pricing on the shelf wall. |
| Premium tier | Woven or hybrid carbon + Nomex honeycomb core | 16 mm | Retail-ready kitting with insert | Tightest construction tolerances and the most distinctive face feel; positions your logo at the top of the wall. |
Spec anchors for every SKU: MOQ 200–500 units / SKU · samples in 7–12 business days · bulk production in 25–35 days · unit pricing quoted based on spec.
Factory-direct terms, stated as ranges
The same numbers apply whether you launch with one SKU or a three-tier line — and unit pricing is always quoted based on spec, line by line.
Typical rhythm, not a promise — firm dates are confirmed when the purchase order is signed.
From brief to shelf in five gates
A private label order is a real sequence — you approve at each gate before the next one starts.
Spec Conversation
Target price tier, player profile and branding assets go in; a buildable draft spec sheet comes back.
Sample Round
Physical sample in 7–12 business days from the confirmed spec, revised until it matches the sheet.
Packaging Proof
Retail box dieline, insert and edge guard cover proofed alongside the paddle — so the SKU lands sell-ready.
First Batch
200–500 units per SKU through the 25–35 day production window, with per-batch QC documents.
Season Rhythm
The locked spec carries into every reorder — no re-engineering between seasons.
The matching playbook, plus the reading
See it as a playbook
Case 01 in our Case Studies follows a regional sporting-goods brand from first brief to a shelf-ready batch — spec draft, sample round, retail packaging and the first 200–500 units, written as steps you can check against our service terms.

Questions brand buyers ask first
How do you price a private label line?
Unit pricing is quoted based on spec: face material, core and thickness, print coverage, grip, edge guard color and packaging tier are each line-priced, so you can see what a customization choice actually costs before you commit.
What MOQ applies when we launch with two or three SKUs?
The standard band is 200–500 units per SKU, applied per SKU rather than across the whole line. Lower trial-run quantities can sometimes be arranged for private-label pilots — ask during your quote request.
Can we approve packaging before the batch runs?
Yes. The retail box dieline, inserts and edge guard covers are proofed at the sample stage, so packaging is approved alongside the paddle — not after production has already run.
How long until the line is on shelf?
Sampling takes 7–12 business days from a confirmed spec, bulk production runs 25–35 days, and freight time depends on destination and mode. Brief us on your launch date and we plan the calendar backwards from it.
